Before joining mcp, João was an Associate at Credit Suisse’s Structured Transactions Group, where he primarily focused on complex lending transactions for corporate and private European clients. He also gained experience in structuring leveraged finance solutions for buyout funds while with the bank’s Financial Sponsors Group in London. Prior to this, João gained experience in equity research and investment management at a boutique equities fund in Lisbon. João holds a MSc in Management from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from the University of Porto.

João speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
