Before joining mcp, she was with Cepres in Munich where she worked on private investment analytics and portfolio monitoring for institutional investors. Prior to that, she gained first work experience in the field of equity research, portfolio management and business development at Shenzhen Stock Exchange, China International Capital Corporation and Goldstueck International AG. Xiaoyu holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Tsinghua University and M.A. in Banking and Finance from University of St. Gallen and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.

Xiaoyu speaks English, Chinese, and German.
