Dr. Stephan Wessel

Stephan is a Managing Partner of Montana Capital Partners AG.

Before joining Montana, he acted as independent advisor on behalf of two European private equity investors. In this capacity, he led a team to manage a diversified portfolio of control investments in Europe and North America, successfully guiding each company to exit over the course of c. 4 years. Furthermore, in the role of CIO, he ran global private investing for a leading European family with a focus on mid-market fund and co-investments. Prior to that, Stephan led the direct investment teams of two single family offices to pursue control investments in consumer & retail companies. He began his career in 2004 with UBS Investment Bank in M&A advisory in London and Frankfurt.

Stephan holds a Dr. rer. pol. of Business and Economics from Otto-Beisheim School of Management, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Münster and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Samford University, USA.
